PARISH SERVICE DAY DETAILS 2023!

 

WHEN:  Saturday, November 18, 2023
Announcing an opportunity for our entire Collaborative (St. Mary's and St. Richard's parish families) to come together for a Day of Service. Wherever you are in the season of your life, you may be able to serve or receive a helping hand.  All ages welcome.

 

Will you let us be your servant? We are looking for anyone who would like some help with fall clean up or other household chores.

Could you or someone you know use assistance with: raking and bagging leaves, cleaning, bringing outdoor furniture inside, removing air conditioners, removing cellar items, etc? Please allow us to help you.

We are looking to create a team of volunteers of all ages, who would be willing to serve our neighbors on November 18th. Whether you put on your work gloves, dawn an apron or put your hands together in prayer, you are needed! There are many opportunities to help throughout the day.

Details:  
Be here no later than 8:15am ready to go on Saturday, November 18th.
Meet in Fr. St. Richard's Hall (below the main church). 

You Must Check In.
Juice, Coffee, donuts and snacks will be available starting at 8:15AM 
Dress Warmly!  If it is cold, bring hat, gloves, jacket & sweatshirt.  Be prepared! Dress in layers!

You will need to bring:  

  1. Rake (Put your name on the handle) if you have any tarps for leaves, leaf blowers, clippers, spades for planting please bring them.

  2. Please bring work gloves.  You will need them.

  3. Lunch: Please pack a hearty lunch with plenty to drink.  

If you are able to help us by baking and serving, a signup sheet is on the bulletin board in the church.
If praying for us is your way of being involved please start praying now for volunteers, good weather and for the people we hope to serve. Please sign up on the bulletin board in the church.
